Saṃkalpa Retreat
April 18-24, 2026
We are happy to announce that this upcoming April 2026, we will be hosting Samādhi Collective’s first Saṃkalpa Retreat. Translated from Sanskrit, a saṃkalpa is an intention rooted in mind and heart, and this retreat will be an opportunity to dive inward, connect with likeminded, spiritual individuals, and set our personal intentions through practice and pūjā dedicated to specific deities and energies.
We have curated this retreat for those who have been wanting to join us in person to study mantra recitation, Sanskrit, and philosophy in a group setting, practice yoga āsana, and experience the beauty and spiritual depth that India has to offer, through visits to temples and ashrams in Haridwar and Rishikesh, Deva Bhūmi “land of the deities.”
This retreat begins on the single most auspicious day in the Vedic Calendar, Akṣaya Tṛtīyā, also known as the day of “lasting achievements.” It is said that anything we begin on this day, any intentions that we set, will have lasting, fruitful results. During our retreat, we will also celebrate the auspicious occasion of Gaṅgā Saptamī, rebirth of the mother Ganges, and will have the opportunity to dip in these sacred waters at our own private ghat.
From setting our saṃkalpa at the beginning of the retreat on Akṣaya Tṛtīyā, to taking our “rebirth” after days of practice and study on Gaṅgā Saptamī, this retreat promises to be a transformative and awakening experience that we are looking forward to sharing with you.
